Laurence McNamara
2008 

Biography

Laurence McNamara began his studies in NY working in the
figurative tradition at the National Academy of Fine Art.

In 1988 Laurence continued his studies at the Pennsylvania
Academy of the Fine Arts. In 1992, Laurence graduated
from the Academy and received a travel scholarship which
provided him with the opportunity to travel and study in
England, Italy, Spain and Morocco.

Laurence McNamara has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions
in California, Delaware, New York, Pennsylvania and France.
He was awarded a grant in 2001 from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation. 

He currently lives and works in L.A.
